Keeping Score

In all games, the determining factor is the final score. In racing, it is how much jingle you have in your pocket at the end of the day.

As we draw closer to the bigger races, you will find yourself wanting to be an expert at whatever track is holding the big race. You may never wager on this track regularly, but now on this day you are ready to fire. This is the time when you need to rely on a system that covers the track day in and day out.

There is nothing wrong with seeking guidance on any day. I used to play many tracks early on when simulcast first came about. You must focus on NO more than three tracks. This allows me to watch, and keep notes if needed. The other tracks fall into the guidance category. This has played better as a money management scheme.

I have called it “tap dancing” when you find yourself jumping from race to race at different tracks. You win $40 on a race, and give back $45 over the next few events.  This makes no sense… Go ahead and make that play, but find a dependable partner like WinningPonies.com to handicap the oval that is not in your menu.

I think you’ll find it to pay off in the long run, and you will enjoy your day at the races. No more sweating and running.  You get to focus, and enjoy. I like playing my target races, and having my information, allows me to extend my wagering opportunities with confidence.
