I have found myself playing Tuesdays more and more. If you would have asked ten years ago, I would have found 100 reasons not to play.  Now, I have chosen to focus on opportunities to win rather than just looking to the weekend.

I enjoy playing the big race days. They draw all of the attention, and this is what makes the headlines. I have learned to focus on plays that yield a profit on any day.  I know the quality may not be up to weekend par, but cashing a ticket is just as sweet on Tuesday.

Let us take a look at Turf Paradise. Yep, let’s go to paradise during the workweek. To make it even sweeter, WinningPonies is going to throw one in on the house. You can’t beat that any day of the week!

In Race #3, they are traveling 6 1/2 furlongs. The tag is condition company $10,000, and we like a top tier selection by the name of Alex’s Tomcat.

He is #3, and is listed as a nice 4-1 on the morning line. He drops from claiming $12,500-$10,000, and sports the “should improve icon” with the dropping in class symbol. He retains the services of Ryan Eickleberry (16%) and has a 51+ rating with a 58 rating for his last three efforts.  This is a nice looking runner at an honest price. He has worked since his last race, going 5f in 1:01.1.

You will have to dial up WinningPonies.com to get the full measure. The Pick-4 starts in Race #1, and the race offers a bevy of exotic wagers.  This could be a nice way to begin the week.  Just think, playing on Tuesdays could be just as profitable as the weekend.

Good luck today !
