I love Saturday. The races are great, and the B/C is just around the corner…

I have a few runners that need a big looksee. You may want to examine where they fit in the tier levels, and see how you can make the best investments with them.

Let us begin at Belmont in Race #8. Look no further than #1 Gozzip Girl. This 3-year-old filly has Kent D in the irons, and Thom Albertrani as the conditioner. She has the ability to close from off of the pace. She runs fresh, and has been given some time away. She is 1/1 at Belmont, and 2/2 at the distance. The race sets up well for her. I like the way the form cycle looks on her, and you should count on a good effort.

Arlington Park’s 6th race offers value. Take a look at Ciao, and you should see some promise. James Graham is in the saddle, and Frank Kirby is the trainer. They team up to win 25% together, and she is a strong closer. 3/8 at Arlington over the weeds. That is not an impressive record at AP, but most of the races were out of her reach. This level of OC 62,500 fits the bill… I think it will be just what the doctor has ordered.

We end up at Presque Isle Downs. The 7th race is the G-3 Masters, going 6 1/2 furlongs. Informed Decision is in place to make it or break it for the Breeders’ Cup. Second start off the layoff here, and this gal needs to put on a clinic over the synthetic surface, to be considered for Santa Anita. She is 4/4 over the poly track, and can easily take to the surface. Julien Leparoux in the saddle for Jonathon Sheppard. I like the second off angle, working bullets in the morning.

Good luck this weekend!
