The best part of racing is that the next big day of action is just a weekend away. But, we like to start early if possible, and there may be a couple of runners worth the look on Wednesday at the “Big A.”

The card overall is playable. Sometimes that may be overlooked, as players wait until Saturday to play. Here are a couple to focus in on, and they may just look good before you make your wagers.

Race #8 – #10 Denomination (7-2). Here is a G-3 winner in France. The talented Christophe Clemente is the conditioner, and Ramon Dominguez is between the ears. This is quite a tandem to watch, and they always give a good account of their team work.  She finished 6th of eight in the Beverly D.  This was a tough race, and you may want to chalk that up to the field. On October 12th, she had a terrible trip, and you may want to excuse this one as well. Let’s just say she was compromised at many times during the race. She gets 2nd time lasix, and this can be a good angle to handicap. Sometimes it takes that second time to get the full effect. One thing you can count on is that Clemente will bring them ready.

Race #9 – #4 Geno Green (3-1). A nice gelding who has a record of 4/8 ITM. He goes to a new barn of Bruce Brown, and this guy is very versatile. The owner is Michael Repole. He loves to win at any cost…. He will claim high, and come back at a tag when available. Owners like this love the game, and they do keep the claim box smoking. Rajiv Maragh is the rider, and any runner that he boots up on in New York is worth a look. He has become one of my go-to-guys in exactas when I have no clue who to use. I like his style, and if you look at his percentages, I think you will as well….

Best of luck!
