Nothing like starting your week with a few sweet shots to get your Preakness bankroll heading in the right direction.
Race #1 – #3 Yarda (2-1).
Hector Rosario in the saddle for Tom Drury. Drury is an incredible trainer, and should be respected every time he has a horse running. Gets first time lasix, and his dam has 3 starters and two winners. Owned by Dell Hancock, and should be played at the windows.
Race #3 – #4 Pinnacle Lady (4-1).
Jose Calo is up for Reid Gross. Goes from maiden 15,000 down to maiden 7,500. Was taken off the turf in his last effort, and gets to play with another furlong, going from 5 panels to 6 furlongs. Broke in the air last time, and bolted. Add in the rider change from Ocatvio Reyes to Calo, and there might be light at the end of his tunnel.
Race #7 – #3 Two Times Gold (4-1).
Azael De Leon (21%) and Genaro Garcia (50%) team up very nicely. 2/3 ITM at River Downs, and Garcia is taking all sorts of notice as a trainer. Maiden winner last effort gets him a 14% score the next outing. Reyes is replaced by De Leon who is doing very well this meet. I have a great deal of confidence betting this trainer, and the rider is the cherry on top of this runner.
Enjoy your Monday, and take your profits where ever they come from. Be sure to check your tier levels, and know that RD is drying out, with a nice cool wind. Also, they broke the seal on the turf course today with two races. So, the track should be tightened up with the past moisture, and I would look for stalkers and closers to play well, as the track should get a nice day to dry out completely.
