Mondays are not that bad…. For most, you have to go back to work and get into the zombie grind. For some, you see it as a great place to start your bankroll. I am the latter, and let’s start this weekend rolling now!

River Downs

Race #1 – #5 Poker Princess (6-5).

Paucar for the red-hot Lawson. They win 40%, and are ITM 68%. He has been outside of Ohio $4,000 company, and dropping back in today. 6/12 lifetime, and the easy win last out gives promise. Paucar does an extreme warm-up with yoga stretches for about an hour pri0r to the first race. I have seen him win early more than many riders. I guess it pays off in spades during his workout.

Race #5 – #1 Copperhead Slinger (7-5).

Yuri Yaranga for Joe Woodard. They team up to win 33%, and 64% ITM. Ships in from Delaware Park, and made a middle move last out and was heavily bet. 6 panels down to 5 1/2 furlongs. Draws the rail, and they get 21% winners. Easier competition today, and with the ultra speedy Scuffling Summer, this should set him up nicely.

Race #7 – #5 Yankee Don (9-5).

Ouzts for Greg Foley. They have an impressive record of 50% winning together. 1/1 at River Downs, and 3/5 at the distance. Heavily bet last out, and he did not disappoint. It seems like he enjoys Ohio, and should repeat very nicely for this barn.
