Belmont is one of my favorite tracks, and WP does extremely well. Take a look at these runners, and pair them up with the other tier levels to find maximum payoff. Go ahead, and build your bankroll. Saturday is just a couple of days away.

Belmont

Race #1 – #1 Brilliant Son (1-1).

This runner is even money. If you could lock that in, go ahead and get it. David Cohen in the saddle for David Jacobson. Makes a second start off a layoff, and goes from turf to dirt. He is dropping down two classes, and the trainer yields a 27% win clip. 1/1 at Belmont Park, and the drop in class will make a big difference. I know that even stew is nothing to brag about, but enjoy it if you can use it in exotics.

Race #7 – #1 Strikealinethruit (6-1).

J.J Castellano in the saddle for David Dugan. Her dam has dropped two turf winners, and Dugan going first time to maiden claiming yields a 22% win. Castellano is a 20% winner, and does very well on the weeds winning 23%. Her first effort showed promise, and she was blocked. Next out looks like a throw-out race. She was bet at the windows, and this could be a nice drop at the right time…. I like the rider, and the price is right.

Race #8 – #10 Cozy Lion (2-1).

Ramon Dominguez in the saddle for Barclay Tagg.  1/2 at Belmont, and makes drastic cutback in distance from 1 1/4 to a 1 1/16th.  I like this move, and the only question is will there be enough pace to set him nicely. The dam of this winner is a stakes winner, and has 4 turf winners overall. 6 starters and 5 winners gives confidence, and we should like the look of this runner. Two races back he faced Winchester. He loves Keeneland, and this runner looked like the real deal. I am going to take 2-1 and really like it.

Good luck!
