Sweet home Chicago could very easily be a part of your Thursday. Take a gander at these selections with the other tier levels for Pick-3 and Superfecta wagers.

Arlington Park – Thursday

Race #1 – #2 Leavenworth (5-2)

Shane Sellers in the irons for Wayne Catalano (25%) and they hook up at 67% ITM. Goes from 5 1/2 – 6 furlongs, and has had solid works in July. Turf to All-weather yields a 43% win and a 78% ITM rate. 1/2 at Arlington, and there is a big drop in class.

Race #2 – #2 Bullstar (4-5)  ***** FIVE STAR PLAY OF THE DAY *****

The odds won’t knock your socks off, but this runner looks about as close to a lock as can be found. Mike Baze is the rider for Nick Canani (44%). 1 mile on the turf, and was a beaten favorite last effort. Middle move last out, and that shows there could be more gas in the tank. 2nd off the Gulfstream ship-in angle. 5/8 overall on the weeds, and to me looks like the lock of the day. I would really dig into the tier levels to find hidden value at the bottom of the super. If you surveyed every sheet in America, they would have this one down for price alone, as they just jump on chalk many times. If you look closely, you will see a nice runner that can be smacked down for value.

Race #6 – #9 Fiscal Policy (8-5)

James Grahm for Thom Amoss (30%). They roll at 42% and 75% ITM as a team. First lasix, and the sire is a 24% winner. The dam has 1/1 with her babies, and has shown solid works as on June 25th, 1:00.2 for 5 panels from the gate. A very nice filly that deserves a play. Once again, you cannot do enough homework to find runners such as these and make multi-race plays. I have found that barn-bets have driven down price on other runners and that may leave you in a great position.

Good luck!
