BC Juvenile Filly (G1) – 1  1/16 miles – $2 million

Awesome Feather - Stanley Gold is the trainer, and she is 5/5 with wins. She exits 2nd off the layoff, and the barn rolls (35%) off a last race win. Florida-bred is Calder’s hope, and she looks to be a player. Her best will be required, and I don’t think she will disappoint.

Jordy Y - Wayne Catalano is the conditioner, and he is having a helluva year. Flattened out down the lane in the Alcibiades, and I think she will have more gas in the tank this time. 3 back she beat the boys, and has all of the tools for the right man.

R Heat Lightning – Pletcher brings her along at a 25% win rate with his youngsters. Horrible trip last out, and she will enjoy the extra distance. All that is needed is a clean trip, and lightning could strike in here.

A.Z. Warrior – Baffert trainee who upset Lightning last out. She has the look of promise, and worked an incredible bullet after the victory. 2nd time off of the poly may help, and she could start the improving right here.

Good luck!
