Nothing like picking up where you left off last Saturday. Hopefully these plays will stimulate yu to dig deeper in the tier levels to pair them with value. So, enjoy the day and before you know it, we will all be looking at 2011.

Aqueduct

Race #2 – #2 Lauburu (2-1)

Here is a very nice two-year-old that was bought for $925k. Somebody thinks they may have a real terror here. The Pletcher and Velasquez show roll on, and the sire gets 13% winners, and the dam has 7 starters and 7 winners.

Race #8 – #3 Changing Skies (1-1)

She comes out of the Flower Bowl, and has been working steady. Shows a versatile nature, and the price tells a great deal of backing. I see a nice Pick-Four single here, and trainer Billy Mott wins 18% of his turf heats.

Calder

Race #4 – #1 Racing Aptitude (5-2)

The colt is a son of Aptitude. His first lawn race was a 4 3/4 victory. Rider Saez wins 22%, and that is pretty good cooking on Florida Million Day.

Race #5 – #1 Lily’s Hope (3-1)

This filly was very overmatched last out against Awesome Feather, who just cruised in the B/C Juvenile fillies. She should be effective today.

Churchill Downs

Race #5 – #10 Splendor Town (3-1)

Was bested down the lane by Dancinginyourdreams, wh0 went on to be the big winner of the Pocahontas. Trainer Hubley wins with 22% of his runners making the second start. Today is a good day….

Race #8 – #1 A Gold Connection (2-1)

Just scored at Keeneland, and is under the handling of Mott. He wins 29%, and switches from AW to dirt.

Good luck!
