Calder Race CourseA little Monday afternoon action may be just what the doctor ordered. So, take these and run them against all info from the tier levels, and start the week off right.

Calder

Race #1 – #7 Presently (6-1)

Ariel Smith in the saddle, and is winning at 17%. 5/12 ITM in Florida, and winning 33% for the barn. 2nd time at this level, and shortens up a bit.

Race #3 – #2 Ministrel Lisa (5-2)

Juan Delgado for Steve Dwoskin (20%). 4/7 ITM over this oval, and that may be a little plus that gets you closer down the lane. Middle move last out, and I think we may see more gas in the tank. The drop should make her playable.

Race #6 – #2 No Peace at All (5-2)

Juan Delagado up for David Fawkes. They have a speedy gelding who should enjoy the 5 1/2 on poly to the dirt, and going from mdn sp wt to mdn claiming 16,000. The drop in class, and the barn wins 17% with new arrivals to the barn.

Race #7 – #7 Master Dunker (3-1)

Daniel Centeno (19%) and Fawkes hook up, and they do very well winning 50% from a small sampling. They are sprinting on the turf, and I have heard that when you are going 5f, that it doesn’t matter if a dirt horse hits the turf. This tosses out the occasional hater of the weeds, but as long as they like the distance, it should be a factor.

Good luck!
