They always say that the grass is greener and that is 100% true this weekend in Chicago. Arlington Park has a stellar 12-race card that goes postward at 1:15 p.m. ET, and there is a guranteed $200,000 pick-four that runs through races 9 – 12. The weather looks great with a high of 75 degrees and only a 10% chance of rain at this time. Be sure to download your E-Z Win Forms as soon as time allows as you won’t want to miss a moment of the action!

Race # 7 –  1 1/16th on the turf –  The American St. Leger – 4:14 p.m. ET

#6 – Suntracer (6-1) = Eddie Perez in the saddle for Chris Block. 5/8 ITM at Arlington, and this son of Kitten’s Joy fits this picture.

Race #8 – 1 1/4 on the turf – The G-1 Secretariat Stakes – 4:48 p.m. ET

This race looks like a great opportunity for an exacta box:

#7 – Bayrir (6-1) = This son of Medicean looks like a turfer. 1/1 at the distance, and 3/4 life with wins.

#8 – Silver Max (9-5) = Robby A. gets the nod for Dale Romans, and he has caught some bad mojo as of late. Let’s put it all behind and hope this jock can get his mount to go 7/7 with wins. Speedy sort, who has been learning to rate.

#2 – Summer Front (5-2) = Ramon Dominguez comes to Arlington having one of the best years of his career. 5/5 on the turf with wins. One tough hombre.

Race #9 – 1 1/16 on the turf – The Hatoof Stakes -5:23 p.m. ET. *****BEGINS THE GUARNTEED PICK-FOUR*****

#2 – Leading Astray (4-1) = Eddie Perez up for Chris Block. 4/4 ITM on the green, and is 3/3 ITM at Arlington.

#6 – Lady Micaela (12-1) = Seth Martinez for Wayne Catalano, and they 2/3 as team this meet. The last race was taken off the turf, and he still broke his mdn. Catalano wins 23% going from the synthetic to turf. I would have to lean here, as Martinez gets his call between Catalano mounts.

#8 – Freedom Rings (9-2) = James Graham for Doug Matthews, and was impressive winning last out. 3/3 at Arlington with wins.

#4 – Toxis (5-1) = Shawn Brigmohan in the irons for Steve Margolis as this son of Street Sense goes poly to turf.

Race #10 – 1 3/16 on the turf – The G-1 Beverly D – 6:02 p.m. ET

#10 – Joviality (9-2) = William Buick in the saddle for the ultra-talented John Gosden. I think you always have to keep him in mind for this day. Exits a key race where 2/5 have come back to win. Gets first lasix, and that be a big benefit for the Euro runners when they arrive.

#8 – Marketing Mix (3-1) = Julien Leparoux for Thomas Proctor. They are winning 29% on the year, and she is 1/1 at Arlington. Toss in 1/1 at the distance, and she looks great at 3-1.

#3 – Romacaca (15-1) = Cisco Torres in the saddle. This guy knows the course and is 6/7 ITM on the Arlington weeds. Second off the layoff, and she had an incredible work as the best of 73 on 8/12/12.

#5 – Mystical Star (6-1) = Jose Lezcano in the saddle for Christophe Clemente. They put her on the shelf after winning the New York at Belmont. Here is a fine daughter of Ghostzapper with one of the best turf riders in the country.

Race #11 – The G-1 Arlington Million – 1 1/4 on the turf – 6:44 p.m. ET

#2 – Boisterous (4-1) = Jose Lezcano for Shug McGaughey. 4/4 ITM at the distance, and was six-wide last out in the Arlington Handicap. Garcia to Lezcano is a plus, and he comes in looking fit and ready. His last two works were on the weeds, and they look like solid runs.

#7 – Wilcox Inn (12-1) = James Graham for Mike Stidham. Second off the shelf, and is 3/4 ITM at Arlington. Working well, and the trainer/rider team are winning 28% this meet.

#5 – Columbian (8-1) = William Buick for John Gosden, and they are here for a reason. This son of Azamour gets first lasix and makes his first start off the summer layoff.

#4 -Little Mike (6-1) = Ramon Dominguez in the saddle for Dale Romans. He has plenty of early foot, and the only question is how will they get the distance? Dominguez is the master at putting them to sleep on the front, and you can bet you’ll see a dawdling half time. Speed on the lead? We’ll see what Dominguez has up his sleeve.

Race #12 – 7f – Claiming $7,500 – 7:20 p.m. ET

#5 – Backdoc (6-1)

#6 – Buttercups Baby (8-1)

#10 – Caro King Destiny (10-1)

#11 – Old Kit Bag (8-1)

Ticket cost = 4 X 4 X 4 X 4 = $128 for a 50-cent version
