Get it right here… That’s right, WinningPonies.com is going to pass out a sweet runner that needs a hard glance before wagering.

Race #8 / The Dania Beach at Gulfstream Park on Saturday, is a solid $100,000 turf event for 3-year-olds.  The race offers: exacta, trifecta, superfecta and daily double wagering.

This affair turns up a runner by the name of Kopitar. J.J Castellano is in the irons for trainer George Arnold. Arnold who is known as a solid conditioner, always preps for two meets: Keeneland and Gulfstream. He brings them rested and ready. He is off to a 20% winning clip this year, and Castellano teams up to be a 25% winner with him.

Kopitar sports a few banners on the WinningPonies site. He has a “Monster Workout” at Palm Meadows, where this gelding has been doing nicely. On January 2nd, he rolled out a solid effort and had the best of 17 works at the distance for the day. He also has the 45 days off banner, and Arnold wins 12% on this move. Add in that he is moving up in class, and this could show confidence in this son of Military.

He is 2/2 with wins, and one of them is over the weeds. His dam has 3 starters and a winner over the main track and the turf.

The time off, and work pattern shows that he is sitting on go, and you may find him on his way to the winners circle. I like this rider, and Rusty Arnold has always done well in South Florida. This gelding should give a solid account of himself, and you will want to check in with WinningPonies.com to find the other runners in the field to maximize his value. Don’t be surprised to see him get his picture taken, as Arnold wins with 24% of his starters going a route of ground.
