I guess we are starting to watch the youngsters. You know, getting your angle; ready to fire on the first Saturday in May.

Here are a few names to keep on your watch list:

Hoopoe – This son of Birdstone was sold for $220k as a yearling and was working at Saratoga this summer. He is owned by the Zayet stables.

Power Rules – Here is a son of Peace Rules, and is unraced. He sold for $80,000 as a yearling. Watch for a late arrival with a short list of races under his belt.

Perfect Song – This is a son of Pleasantly Perfect.  He was an impressive winner on January 20th at Philadelphia Park. His victory was by an impressive 6-lengths  at 1:09:18 for 6 panels. Now, this is a nice victory anywhere….

The song is always the same. Don’t get caught up too early and commit yourself to a runner. This puts the blinkers on you, and you’ll miss something special coming your way.

Just relax, and keep watching the children..
