Rain On The River

The rain is falling steadily as I write this. The forecast calls for more of Mother Nature’s handiwork, and the river may be a risin’ but the race has yet to begin.

We need one on the house. One that may jump-start you into the mindset of getting down with WinningPonies.

Let us begin Thursday in Race #3 at River Downs. This is a three-year-old going 5 1/2 f. She is #1, Lady on a Run. The rail post has been kind to runners, scoring at over 20%. She is 5-2, and looks like the traveling is over. She ran in California, Louisiana, and finally found a home in Ohio.

Yuri Yaranga is the rider for red-hot trainer Joe Woodard. Woodard is kicking butt at 32% on a winning streak. He mainly runs in Kentucky, but when he sends one to Ohio it is for good reason. Mainly to win…..

I like her speed rating of 50 for the race and 47 for her last three efforts. She has the dropping in class icon, and is a three-year-old facing older. During this meet, that has been a good thing. At 5-2, I would think value is yours to be had. She is 6/10 ITM lifetime, and 2/2 ITM in the off going.

I would dial up WinningPonies.com and string this runner in your exotics and multi-race wagers. You can bet the track will have plenty of moisture, and the rain may let up for a little while, so look for a sealed sloppy track. Her style seems to fit, and it just depends on how you want to use your information.
