I like to start the weekend a few days early.  I can’t wait, no matter what the weather. Even though mother nature may be dealing from the bottom of the deck, we will pull out some plays that may heat up your day.

We will begin were there is some warmth and sunshine.  Let’s go to Calder…..

Race #1 – #2 Super Stressed (9-5). This is not about the holiday shopping craze, or maybe it could be. This is a two-year-old colt by Macho Uno. He is in for $12,500 and has been finishing up strong. Trainer Daid Vivian has found a 7-panel race, and this may be the ticket. I see him getting off the snid and getting his picture taken today. If you get 9-5, that may be an early gift. Be sure to measure him up against the tier levels, and make a decision to fit him into your exotics.

Race #2 – #5 Cruzin With Cash (5-2). This could be a David Vivian Daily-Double. This runner is making the turf-dirt angle, and Vivian has won at a crisp 35% on this move. Eddie Nunez is back in the irons, and it is always helpful to have a familiar face in the saddle. Of the two so far, I like this one a bit better.  It is rare to have a DD with a trainer, but this looks to be a real nice shot.  As always, check against the data and be sure to change the track condition if things get nasty. That is a real plus before heading to the windows, and something you can always count on with WinningPonies.

Race #7 – #8 Sweet Diane (5-2). Luis Saez is in the irons for trainer Jose Garoffalo. Today you will get a third back off a layoff, and drops in class. These are two player moves that carry everywhere. You gotta love it, and Saez has been riding lights out. I think he may be another rider that will get his dance card stamped by riding on the Florida circuit. The price is right, and you can’t slight the driver. So, see if you can string together a nice multi-race exotic and cap the day off right.

Thursday can be a good day to start your bankroll.  Just be sure to watch the weather, and check against the tier levels. There may be some nice value to be had, and you do not want to miss your chance. So, what are ya’ waitin’ for? Dial us up, and get in the game……
