Folks usually are coming back to work off a hangover, and thinking about their favorite football team and how they played. Most have forgotten about the races, and want to focus on next week. But, we may have a few reasons to be glad on Monday morning again….

I agree, there is not the usual bevy of tracks running.  Beulah has done quite well in the past, by taking over Monday in recent years. Today, we may just have some plays to watch.

Race #2 – #4 Charlotte’s Cat (5-2).  Yuri Yuranga is in the saddle for Joe Woodard. They are winning at 9%, and ITM 68%. She exits a four length victory on 10/14, and is one for one at Beulah. She makes a nice step up in class, and has been working hard in the morning.

Race #6 – #6 Music For The Soul (5-2). Edgar Paucar is up for Charlie Lawson. They team up for a crisp 55% ITM. When Lawson comes up a class, he wins at 15% on this move. His rate being a winner after scoring off his last race is 21%. Add in being 4/5 at Beulah, and he is going for 3-in-a-row.

Race #8 – #1 Courage (9-2). Yaranga and Woodard are winning 22% and 41% respectively. This runner is 4/5 at Beulah, and 4/6 at the distance. He stretches out from 5 1/2 to 6 panels. Woodard is doing well with claimers (23%) and he’s been doing good work in the morning. This filly is looking tight, and has shown some solid works. Take a look at the work at Presque Isle over the poly track. This kind of work tightens runners up a bit, and gets them ready for the races.

So, don’t delay and get ready to start off the week right. I like a little extra action, and there is more than just Monday Night Football to cheer for…..
