Ohio racing still offers good value. I like to get down in the data and find some runners that fit the profile to make it happen. Just take a look, and I think we will make you a believer in the small ovals.

River Downs / Thistledown

Race #2 – #5 Emma’s World (8-5).

Jorge Bracho in the irons for Chris Melton. They are winning at 60%, and 80% ITM. 5/6 ITM, and is 2 off of layoff. 6f – cutting back to 5 1/2 furlongs. 5/7 at the distance, and should stalk and pounce at the quarter pole.

Race #3 – #1 Chard (5-2).

Luis Gonzalez up for Miguel Felicano, and they do well as a team. Tampa shipper, and they do well in Cleveland. Big drop in class, and dropping from condition 10,000 down to cond 3,500 action is like a rock dropping in the river. I see good things on the class drop alone.

Race #5 – #3 Ledbetter Claret (3-1).

Anne Sanguinetti is up, and this looks like good action for me. 2/2 ITM, and is second off of the poly track. I like this angle, and she comes off mdn 10,000 into mdn sp wt against the gals. This is HUGE as far as a class move and she can very easily score. I like her position, and she appears to enjoy Cleveland.

Good luck!
