The weekend is hot, and I don’t mean the thermometer this time. The races are great, and you have a little time to score some bank to get in the game all weekend long. Saratoga – Friday

Race #1 – #1 Unaccountable (8-5)

Jose Lezcano in the saddle for the red-hot Chad Brown (50%). They hook up at a 58% ITM clip, and they look to make it sweeter. Won last race out, and a 34% number goes with that barn on this move. Has not raced for 6 months, and 3 times back he ran a solid effort. The trainer is one to watch!

Race #3 – #4 Banker’s Buy (5-2)

Lezcano for Zito here, and they work well together. 3 off, and add in 3/4 in 2010. Impressive win last out, and has been working well. I like to see regular works even if they do not sizzle the clock. I think she will show well for a New York bred gal.

Race #4 – #7 Letshootpool (2-1)

Kent D up for Linda Rice. She is the queen of turf sprints, and I would expect no less. She is rolling at 75%, and gets first lasix. Debut turf efforts get a 23% clip. Every time she has a turf runner in the game, we need to take a look at the race.

Race #7 – #7 Wicked Diva (5-2)

Ramon Dominguez for Mike Hushion, and they have an incredible number of 60% a winner, and 100% ITM. 4/4 lifetime, and turns back from a mile to 7 panels. Solid filly who should break fresh, and I would look for a gate to wire attempt today.
