I am going to breakdown each race, and give you some horses to focus on. I have gone back and watched the last live race of every pre-entry for day one. The final entry date is next Tuesday, and in the meantime, I would start focusing on some runners to make final determinations.

BC Marathon (G3) – 1 3/4 miles – $500k

A.U. Miner – 2nd time off of the layoff, and can close very quickly. Distance should be no problem, and watch for final works, and comments.

Giant Oak – 3rd off the shelf, and Chris Block is having a banner year all around. Been working well at Hawthorne, and I would watch the final moves.

Prince Will I Am – Michele Nehei is the trainer, and goes from turf to dirt. Was 6 wide last out with an impressive win in the G-1 Jamaica.

Here are some runners to focus on, and be sure as always to check them against the tier levels as there may be value that you don’t want to leave on the table in the form of big money on this day.

Good luck!
