Tuesday’s Free Selections

Beulah ParkRare is it to find me wanting to do some small track wagering this early in the week. I have an itch, and Beulah Park in Columbus, Ohio has the scratch.

Beulah Park

Race #1 #4 British Banker (2-1)

He is ridden by a (24%) rider, and trained by national win player Joe Woodard (28%). Two back found this gelding at Gulfstream Park, then off to Turfway, and now at Beulah. It sounds like somebody wants to get rid of a problem, and Joe Woodard steps up to do some magic. The drop in class and the rider trainer combo making a drop down two class levels to win at a white-hot (31%) makes me want to use him in all gimmicks. This is where the predictions find value in a race such as this, and turn a small win pool runner into a sweet trifecta payout.

Race #3 – #4 Picking Shed (5-2)

Woodard is the trainer and Rafael Hernandez is the reins man. He wins (24%), and the trainer bats (28%) a winner. Poly runner at TP, and makes a huge class drop for a barn that is tough to beat at this game. Going from $10k down to mdn $5k is a dropper. I like that it was her only career race, and the future may turn out OK for her.

Race #4 – #4 Skilled (5-2)

She could benefit from a suicidal pace. She has the ability to stalk just off, and Grama Sue’s Posse will make it salty and tough to beat. But winning at Beulah after coming in from TP to make it 5 starts and 5 wins sealed the deal. Orlando Mojica is in town, and this guy is pretty much the best rider there. I don’t know if he lost a bet, or if he wants to stay close to family, but he has skills. Horse for the course, and the trainer Juan Aguirre is winning at (36%).

Race #5 – #5 Mimis Road Warrior (3-1)

This daughter of Cahill Road is 1 for 1 at Beulah after shipping in from the synthetic track of Golden Gate Fields. Jose Corrales is the trainer (24%) and enlists the services of Noel Vigil (21%). They hook-up for a (39%) win record, and she won by a commanding 10 lengths. The barn comes back to repeat (32%) for repeat runners.

So, what are ya’ waitin’ for?? Check in with the winningponies.com predictions,  and don’t forget to use the change of weather tab if it gets wet, as rain is passing in the area. Nothing like getting an early start.  What better time than now, and what better place than here??

Best of luck !!
