There is a whole lot going on these next two weeks, and you’ll want to keep your eyes peeled. The weather will be incredible, and you will want to take advantage of Mother Nature smiling kindly. Here is a sampling of what the E-Z Win Forms have to say. Nothing like a freebie to get the ball rolling, and be sure to check in and grab up the entire race card as there are some races that may define the year!

Saratoga

The weather calls for 78 degrees, and clear.

Race #8 – O.C. $35,000 – 1 3/16 on the turf – 4:38 p.m. ET

#2 – Ampersand (4-1) = Jose Lezcano  in the saddle for Richard Violette. This son of City Zip owns the “Should Improve and Drops in Class” icons. The barn is making the second off the layoff move, and they score at a 25% win clip, and are 65% ITM. His Last Race Rating is 66 +, and the Composite Rating is a 63. Both numbers jump out in this field, and his Turf Rating is an impressive 15.6 number. Lezcano is a fine reins man on the weeds, and the drop in class should help his causes greatly.

Race #9 – The G-1 Sword Dancer – 1 1/2 on the turf – 5:12 p.m. ET

#10 – Boisterous (5-2) = John Velasquez in the irons for Shug McGaughey, and for the year they are winning 29% together. His Last Race Rating is a hot 81, and his Composite Rating is 59. – His Turf Rating is an eye-popping 34.9, and has to be respected before making any wagers. He sports the “Has Improved and Monster Workout” icons in the field. As he kicked off 2013, his races show a more focused animal. John Velasquez had plenty of choices at Arlington Park for the Million card, and he opts to stay at Saratoga to ride this one and Fiftyshadesofhay. If you get 5-2, bet early and often!

Arlington Park

The weather forecast calls for 78 degrees and sunny.

Race #6 – The $75,000 Hatoof Stakes – 1 1/16 on the turf – 4:21 p.m. ET

#10 – Liz Pendens (9-2) = Joel Rosario gets the nod from Mike Stidham. This daughter of Macho Uno sports the ” Moving Up in Class, Monster Workout, and Should Improve” icons. She was a beaten favorite last out, and Stidham comes back to win at a 21% clip. Rosario replaces E.T Baird, and everything looks to be pointed to a strong effort. Her Last Race Rating is 69+, and her Composite Rating is 68. Her Turf Rating is a very strong 18.8 as she looks to be a major pace player in this event.

Race#7 – The $400,000 American St. Leger Stakes – 1 1/2 on the turf – 4:52 p.m. ET

#4 – Dandino (9-5) = Ryan Moore gets the call for Marco Botti. – A 6-year-old son of Dansili looks to be in the right spot. His Last Race Rating is 61 +, and his Turf Rating is a solid 24.8 number. He carries the ” First Time Lasix, 45 Days Off, and Dropping In Class” icons.  He appears to be a hard knocker, and should do himself well in this affair.
