The Breeders’ Cup will be here in the blink of an eye. In the meantime, you’ll want to enjoy some quality racing action to satisfy that sweet tooth. So sit back and enjoy, as Winning Ponies is serving up some “Free Selections” from the E-Z Win Forms.

Belmont Park

The forecast call for 73 degrees and partly cloudy.

Race #5 – Mdn Sp Wt – 7f on the turf – 2:58 p.m. ET

#7 – Freud’s Sunset (5-2) = Javier Castellano in the irons for Dominic Galluscio. This filly by Freud sports the ” Has Improved” icon, and cuts back in distance. She owns a Last Race Rating of 65, and a Composite of 51. Her Turf Class Rating is a field best 12.5.

Race #9 – The G-3 Athenia Stakes – 1 1/16 on the turf – 5:06 p.m. ET

#5 – Pianist (5-2) = Jose Oritz and Chad Brown go to post, and she shows the ” Monster Workout, Dropping in Class, and Layoff of 45 Days” icons. Drops in class to the G-3 level, and should be an up-close factor. She sports a 73+ Last Race Rating, and a 71 Composite. Her Turf Class Rating of 25.3 is the field best number. This daughter of More Than Ready is a front running type, and I would look for her to employ that move today.

Keeneland

The forecast calls for 77 degrees, and partly sunny.

Race #6 – Alw $58,000 – 1 1/2 on the turf – 3:45 p.m. ET

#2 – Empire Maker (7-2) = James Graham in the saddle for Rusty Arnold. Arnold loves to win at two tracks with pleasure. Keeneland, and Gulfstream Park. He has this runner ramped up with a victory at KyD, and a pair of 68′s for a Last Race and Composite Rating. 30.2 is the best Turf Class Rating, and distance should not be a factor today.

Race #8 – Alw $58,000 – 6 1/2f – 4:49 p.m. ET

#5 – Milam (5-2) = B.J Hernandez gets the nod for Eddie Kenneally. Two-year-old daughter of Street Sense, and she owns a 52 Last race rating, and a 56 Composite number. She flies the ” Dropping in Class” icon, and in from G-2 company should be a welcome option. I feel she is a versatile runner, and this may be her greatest asset in being a  major player in here.
