There’s a great card on tap in Hallandale, Florida. – It’s going to be 76 degrees and mostly sunny. What more could a horseplayer ask for? – Well, here’s a little something extra for all who’ll be watching and wagering. I’m going to put together a pick-four ticket from a small place parlay that rounded up nicely into a $100 score! – So, without further delay let’s get handicapping.

Gulfstream Park

Race#9 – The G-2 Inside Information – 7f – 3:40 pm

#2 – Cinnabunny (3-1) has Irad Ortiz aboard for Brad Cox. She was beaten chalk last out and the barn scores 31% looking for payback. Look for her close to the lead. #7 – Sally’s Curlin (9-2) is a solid closer with Corey Lanerie for Dale Romans. She cuts back to 7 panels and should be dangerous. #8 – Sound Machine (8-1) exits the G3 Sugar Swirl and looks to pick up off that race moving forward. Saffie Joseph and Jose Ortiz team up to stalk the pace.

Race #10 – The G-3 W.L. McKnight – 1 1/2 on the turf – 4:13

#4 – Temple (8-1) has been off for 49 days and Mike Maker and Irad Ortiz have a solid closer here. He is 9 for 9 ITM at GP. They win 29% as a team. #5 – Sadler’s Joy (3-1) is a long-range closer for Tom Albertrani and Jose Ortiz. He has been off for 2 months and 4 for 6 ITM at GP. #11 – Channel Cat (9-2) makes his 2nd start off a layoff for Jack Sisterson and Corey Lanerie. His last work was sharp looking to put the finishing touch on a good plan.

Race #11 – The G-1 Pegasus World Cup – 1 3/16 on the turf – 4:59

#2 – Breaking the Rules (10-1) is a solid stalker who is 3 for 3 ITM at GP. 2nd start off the shelf with bullet works under his belt for Shug McGaughey and John Velasquez. #5 – Colonel Liam (7-2) is a lightly raced colt who relishes the weeds. Irad Ortiz and Todd Pletcher team up and have a sharp work to prepare. #11 – Say the Word (6-1) has been off for 57 days and ships in from California with Flavien Prat in the irons. He fires well fresh and Prat wins 24% on the weeds. 2nd effort for Phil D’Amato and he wins 22% on this move.

Race#12 – The G1 Pegasus World Cup – 1 1/8 – 5:44 pm

#4 – Knicks Go (5-2) is a pure speed runner under Joel Rosario for Brad Cox. He’s been off two months and will dictate the pace. Rosario wins 23% with speedy runners. #10 – Code of Honor (9-2) has been away for 57 days since being beaten chalk in the G1 Clark at CD. He will be gunning down the pace as they turn for home.

Ticket cost = 3 X 3 X 3 X 2 = $54 for a dollar / $27 for 50-cents
