Dale Romans is through and through a Kentucky man and he is itching for his first Derby, and Dullahan could give it to him.  Dullahan comes off a stellar performance in his last race where he came from behind to beat Hansen on the polytrack at Keeneland.

He is a half brother to Derby winner Mine That Bird, and could also come from way back to blow down the Churchill Downs stretch if the front runners run out of steam.  His past performances indicate that he is able to adjust his running style as he has sometimes raced closer to the pace than others, and this kind of tactical speed may come in handy if the speed horses try to slow up the fractions too much.
