As each week passes and the heat of summer fades. The racing action just keeps getting better. Winning Ponies has been delivering winners all summer long, and we look forward to rounding the big turn into the autumn racing season. Here is a sampling from the E-Z Win Forms so you can get to handicapping!

Belmont Park

The weather forecast calls for 70 degrees and no precipitation.

Race #8 – The G-3 Noble Damsel – 1 mile on the turf – 5:13 p.m. ET

#6 – Hungry Island (2-1) = John Velasquez gets the call for Shug McGaughey. She exits as a beaten favorite in the Ballston Spa, and ran a respectable fourth. This gal owns the “Should Improve and Dropping in Class” icons. Her Last Race Rating is a scorching 69+ and Composite a 69. These numbers are ultra-impressive, and the capper is her 26.8 Turf Class Rating. J.V. had the call last year, and it looks they are getting ready for the fall season. The barn comes back to score 51% ITM with beaten favorites, and her last effort may have been a stepping stone for bigger things to come.

Woodbine

The weather is slated to be 63 degrees and sunny.

Race #7 – The G-2 Natalma Stakes – 1 mile on the turf – 3:49 p.m. ET

#6 – Appreciating (9-2) = Gary Boulanger in the irons for trainer Mark Casse. This daughter of Sky Mesa circled all 12 of runners in her maiden break going 7f. Gets a stretch-out to a flat mile, and owns the “Moving up in Class” icon. Her Last Race Rating and Composite are a pair of 69’s, and if the maiden win coming from the clouds is any indication of her ability. I like her chances at a square price.

Kentucky Downs

The weather forecast calls for 75 degrees and sunny.

Race #6 – The $150,000 Kentucky Juvenile Turf – 7f on the turf – 5:05 p.m. ET

#2 – School on a Hill (9-2) = Rosie Napravnik and Wayne Catalano team up today, and this son of Student Council sports the “First Time Lasix and Moving up in Class” icons.  His Last Race Rating and Composite figures are 61, and the Turf Class Rating is 21.5. – An impressive win last out at a huge price at Arlington Park. New trainer and rider today, and the first time Lasix may help the cause. Rosie knows how to ride about every course designed, and KyD should be a nice day in the country.
