Weekend Smokers

The weekend is the time when most players are focused on playing the races. It makes sense. The best races are run because the crowds are off of work for the most part, and more people can make the trek to the track. Here are a couple of reasons to dial up WinningPonies.com and make this a fruitful weekend.

With our information, you can capitalize on the multi-race exotics. That is great news. It can be a cornucopia of action that translates into cash.

The first event that needs a strong look is Race #9 at Churchill. The name of the runner is Lady Digby, and she is #8 in your program. The odds are a sweet 4-1. Ramon Dominguez has the call, and she looks ready to fire off a solid effort. She exits the G-1 Diana at Belmont, and today drops back to G-3 company. Dominguez is a 23% winning rider on the turf, and scores 11% on the win and 51% ITM for Graham Motion.

With rain in the forecast, this should go very well. She enjoys the turf with a little give to the ground. At 4-1, this should help the cause, and kick off Churchill to a winning weekend.

The other race is the G-3 Stuyvesant (8th race at Aqueduct). Make a play with Ravel in your wagers. He is 5-1, and has the services of John Velasquez and Todd Pletcher. The batting average is 17% with winners, and 40% ITM. His last race was the Jockey Club Gold Cup against Curlin. I know you have heard of him….

Pletcher wins 20% with blinkers going on, and you can throw out the poly track races.  He is bred to enjoy the muddy / soft going, and his conditioner wins 27% of the time, 46-90 days away. He looks like a good thing…..
