Tuesday is only a couple of days away, and I already like a couple of runners to make a little wager to kick off the week…

In Race #1 at River Downs, I like the looks of #6 El Pollo Volando. He is a big speedster, and has the services of Edgar Paucar for trainer Charlie Lawson. They team up to win 28% of the time when they take to the track. I like this angle, and feel it may be worth a nice look before going to the windows.

In Race #5, go to the data and take a look at #3 Friendly Inn.  Wesley Ward is the trainer, and he made a stopover at River Downs, before going on to Royal Ascot to win multiple races with horses that worked here.

Has the services of Yuri Yaranga, and he is a 29% turf winner as they are going one mile on the green. This is a speedy gelding who is dropping in class, and has the ability to turn out the lights quickly. So, look long and hard at this one….
