Del Mar RacingThe house that Bing built is back and running. This is a sure sign that summer is in full swing. You have to love the racing, and it is my favorite part of the California season.

Del Mar – Thursday

Race #1 – #3 Tweebster (8-5)

Martin Garcia is in the irons for Bob Baffert. They hook up to win 36%, and are 77% ITM. This Baffert runner is 1/1 ITM at Del Mar, and shoots with a three off the all-weather angle. Was a beaten favorite last out, and that angle yields a 32% win clip. 4/5 ITM lifetime, and 2/2 on the synthetic surface.

Race #3 – #2 El Nadia (5-1)

Joel Rosario in the saddle for Jerry Hollendorfer. They do pretty well at a 27% win, and a 73% ITM. Rosario does well on the turf, and is a 52% ITM rider on the green. 5/6 ITM in 2010, and cuts back from 1 mile to 5 furlongs. Bred to love the turf, and looks to be a big closer. The shorter distance will have her rolling in the lane.

Race #4 – #8 Holloween Candy (4-5)

Rosario for Hollendorfer again, and this short price looks like one to play up and down in exotics. 3 off the layoff (this is one of my personal favorites), and dropping down a class gets the barn 60% ITM. The only drawback is the outside post, and they just do as well. But, I think this barn will overcome the outside draw, and her natural speed will get her away fast and hard to catch.

Good luck!
