Canada is known for some fine things – most of which I noted in the subject line…. But this Saturday, some of the best turf racing comes rolling into Woodbine, and you might want to bring your bankroll….

We are going to give you some food for thought. You will definitely want to see where to pair these up in the tier levels, but they sure warrant a big looksee before making your final plays.

Here they come, so ready or not, get in gear to win!

Race #8 – The G-2 Neartic going 6f on the turf; one of the best turf courses in the world I may add….. Take a hard look at #9 Heros Reward. J.J. Castellano stays aboard, and if you look back in his PPs, you will see he has been aboard for the majority of his rides. 5/5 ITM at Woodbine, and being a horse for the course always helps. This gelding should relish stretching out to 6f, and Castellano is a very underrated turf man….

Race #9 – The 1 1/4 E.P Taylor goes on the green as well…  Look no farther than the chalk of #2 Rainbow View.  Leparoux in the saddle, and John Gosden could write volumes on what he has forgot about training. He is a super conditioner, and this gal gets first lasix. Go back four races ago, and you will see she faced Goldikova, the same of B/C fame…. I don’t see her in here, and the “Rainbow” should lead to the pot of gold…

Race #10 – The Canadian International going 1 1 /2 over the sod… A MAJOR player in here is #1 Champs Elysees. Hell or high water, this is my best bet of the day. He was killed last race out, and if you are a trip handicapper you wish you could lock in at 4-1. Garrett Gomez in the saddle, and he has become one of the best traveling showmen in the world. Send Garrett, and take home the money…. 4/5 ITM at Woodbine, and was a beaten favorite last out. If it comes up a bit soft, have no worries as he can handle this. Bobby Frankel is looking for payback, and today he gets his due….
