I absolutely love betting races on the green. The pools are better, and you will find value all the way around. Just pay attention to the “change of weather” tab on the E-Z Win Forms and you can be ready to shift from firm and fast to muddy and yielding in a click. Here are the weather reports for the tracks we will be focusing. Belmont will be 76 degrees with a 20% chance of rain, Kentucky Downs has a perfect day with 79 degrees with no rain, and Woodbine will be 70 with no rain in Toronto. This is another great feature Winning Ponies offers and you will find it to be your one stop shop for racing info, and the best in handicapping guidance to make your day a winner!

Belmont

Race #8 – The G-3 Noble Damsel Stakes – 1 mile on the turf – 4:34 p.m. ET

#7 – Julie’s LoveĀ  (7-2) = Julien Leparoux gets the nod for Graham Motion. Exits a victory at Saratoga, and the Motion barn can help a horse hold their form. They win 22% on this move, and Leparoux is a finesse type rider who should do very going a mile on the cutback. 1/1 at Belmont, and 12/15 ITM on the greensward. Look for closing effort on this day, and Leparoux should get busy late in the lane.

Race #9 – The G-1 Garden City Stakes – 1 1/8th on the inner turf – 5:06 p.m. ET

#1 – Tannery (5-1) = Jose Lezcano for Alan Goldberg. Last out ran a very game effort at the The Curragh, and she is a daughter of Dylan Thomas. She is bred to enjoy the turf, and is 4/5 ITM on the green. All signs show she can get the distance, and Lezcano is one of the best turf riders in the nation. Two back she beat the older on the poly track, and if a good trip is in her future expect a solid effort again.

Woodbine

Race #6 – The G-2 Natalma Stakes – 1 mile on the turf – 3:45 p.m. ET

#11 – Coconut Shrimp (4-1) = J.J. Castellano in the irons for Todd Pletcher. Team Pletcher wins 35% on the second start, and 28% going a sprint to a route. Add in the blistering bullet work, and she is exiting a key race where 2/5 have come back to win. There is plenty to like, and Castellano seals the deal for me.

Race #9 – The G-2 Summer Stakes – 1 mile on the turf – 5:21 p.m. ET

#8 – Indiano Jones (4-1) = Patrick Husbands has the mount for the Mark Casse barn. They are winning 27% together as a team at Woodbine, and how he rolled past the field in his last effort gives me confidence. Casse wins 22% with his babies, and Husbands is red-hot at 22% this meet.

Kentucky Downs

Race #9 – The G-3 Kentucky Turf Cup – 1 1/2 on the turf – 6:35 p.m. ET

#3 – Rahystrada (9-5) = Corey Lanerie in the saddle for Byron Hughes. He tried to close into the slow fractions of the Arlington Million, and ran a solid third place. He is 1/1 at KyD, and won the same race last year. I think he prefers a firm turf course, and with no rain expected, you should see a premium effort again this year. Runners that have done well in the past usually return to put on a good show.

Once again, checking in with your E-Z Win Forms make Winning Ponies a one-stop place for your racing needs. Check the weather, everything is in real time, and the selections have been doing very well. So, what are ya’ waiting for? Get your E-Z Win Forms and don’t miss out on a great weekend as we head to the stretch run for horses going to the Breeders’ Cup. Good luck, and may your winner’s be many, and your photos be few!
