Everyday at Keeneland is special. It can be on a rainy Wednesday, or the Bluegrass Stakes. It is all good stuff. You have to watch all of the trends, and keep up on the past doings of the previous day.

It is a nice thing when WinningPonies digs in, and comes out with a solid play of the day. Best of all, you can kick off the weekend a little early.

For Thursday at Keeneland, take a look at Race #5. It is a 4 1/2 furlong race.  Our top pick is #4 Mission Impazible (ML 5/2). This is a very nice two-year-old son of Unbridled Song. He has done well with his runners on the poly track. He is shooting out the lights with four winners this meet.

John Velasquez has the call for Todd Pletcher. John V is winning at 20%, but Pletcher has laid a goose egg so far this meet. But things are about ready to change, and you better be on board.

This colt sports a 64 speed rating, and has two sweet morning works on the poly. His works clock 4f in :46.4 being the 3rd best of 81 for that day, and 4f in a :47 flat as the best work out of 103! These signal he’s ready to fire, and Pletcher is begging to get in the game. Everything looks good, and it is up to you to dial up WinningPonies.com to get the rest of the card to lay the smackdown on the rest of the exotic wagers.

The rail has been good, and early in the card, daily speed has been holding. I would look for JV to break alert, and pick em’ up before they head for home. The babies need to have everything in place, as 4 1/2 f is not a lot of distance to get tied up. Take this top tier selection, and use it well.

Good luck, and 16 days to Derby 135!
