The $2,000,000 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile – 1 1/16 – 2:43 PDT

Classic Empire – Mark Casse trainee who has three wins from four starts. The one loss was due to losing the rider in the (G-1) Hopeful. Take a good look at this son of Pioneer of the Nile.

Klimt – Bob Baffert brings this son of Quality Road to post. He is 4/5 ITM lifetime and might be peaking at the right time.

Gormley – John Sheriffs runner by Malibu Moon. A perfect 2/2 and his victory over Klimt has you guessing it could be another exacta.

Three Rules – Jose Pinchin colt is a perfect 5/5 and should be close if not showing the way. Has to be respected.

The $2,000,000 Breeders’ Cup Mile – 1 mile on the turf – 3:23 PDT

Alice Springs – Daughter of Galileo for the Aiden O’Brien barn. She came flying in the B/C Juvenile Turf Fillies last year at Keeneland, and it has to get you thinking about a maturing effort in here.

Tepin – Mark Casse runner who is 15/17 on grass and has been 7/7 ITM in 2015 and 2016. She’s a gamer and will be tough to pass. – She had plenty in the tank from her last and it was a good tightener.

Ironicus – Son of Distorted Humor for Shug McGaughey. 12/13 ITM on the turf and his late turn of foot is sign of good things to come.

Mondialiste – Son of Galileo for the David O’Meara barn. Winner of the Arlington Million, and my only question is will one mile be enough for this late runner ?
